Friday's Favorites: Farewell

I've decided to hang up my Friday's Favorite hat and pursue some other adventures. So for this, my final Friday's Favorites post, I bring you my three favorites for saying a fond farewell.

Friday's Favorites: Crafters Who Care

In lieu of the traditional Friday's Favorites post, I come to you on a Thursday with an appeal for the victims and families of victims from the earthquake in Haiti. If you're able to help, please find a reputable organization to give monetary donations to. The Red Cross is doing telethons across the nation this week, as are many other good organizations. Also, if you're looking for a unique way to give, many Etsy sellers are donating their proceeds or portions of their proceeds to the relief efforts. You can find such offerings here.

Friday's Favorites: Cats vs. Dogs

Happy New Year and welcome to a new year of Friday's Favorites!

I thought I'd start this year off in a quirky way with some inspiration from a radio report. On my way to work this morning I heard about a survey asking which is better, cats or dogs. It got me to thinking about what Quiltsy has to offer in the way of pet accoutrement, so here's my favorites this Friday:

I think any of my three cats would love to curl up on this divine Cat Mat from Eclectic Armadillo. Purrfectly heavenly!
