Shades of Turquoise by LoveBugStudios
There are so many gorgeous goodies in LoveBugStudios' Etsy shop that I had a difficult (but fun!) time choosing just one to feature. I chose this Shades of Turquoise table runner because of the beautiful bright colors she used. And the decorative stitching that she says was an experiment, turned out lovely. The hand stitched binding shows the level of professionalism that she uses in her work. I'm a huge fan of LoveBugStudios, and I'm sure after checking out her shop, you will be, too!Monday, December 6, 2010

Contemporary Pot Holders

Pot holders no longer have to be dull and drab of yesteryear. These bright contemporary ones are the proof. They come from cachecreekquilts and she used fabric by Amy Butler's Paradise Garden and Sunspot Wine. I think what I like best about them is you can use them in any style or color kitchen. She also lines her potholders with a layer of insul bright and a layer of cotton batting to protect to hands from heat. She has finished these with a matching wine colored thread. These would make a wonderful gift to give during the holiday season. If you would like these to brighten you kitchen along with other ideas for you kitchen such as table runners, and aprons visit her shop at cachecreekquilts.etsy.com
