I've been cutting my scraps down to strips of 1 1/2, 2, and 2 1/2 to use in scrap quilts. Can't wait to work on some in 2013!Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01426113785382986298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7975801764707406754.post-32822893607764497122012-12-26T13:51:31.041-06:002012-12-26T13:51:31.041-06:00Wow - How great are you to be working on this on C...Wow - How great are you to be working on this on Christmas. It is much appreciated!<br /><br />I rarely keep scraps smaller than about 3" square. Like Char above, I do love to make string quilts so I will keep longer strips down to about an inch wide. If I keep them too small, I get overwhelmed with scraps pretty fast.Cynthia Brunz Designshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03493041529014071142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7975801764707406754.post-20154038515627294032012-12-26T08:11:50.123-06:002012-12-26T08:11:50.123-06:00Great post and I thank you for writing it up on Ch...Great post and I thank you for writing it up on Christmas.<br />This is my favorite thing to do. The smallest scrap I use is 3/4 inches. When I make sting blocks sometimes I just want to see that little sliver of color. I never use a string larger than 2 inches.
