Quiltsy Cares 3/28/19

Our featured quilter of the day is Sally Manke, Fiber Artist.  Sally lives on the shore of Lake Michigan in the northwest corner of lower Michigan.  Her chosen charity is the Women's Resource Center in her community.

Each year the local Ben Franklin Store fabric department collects quilts for the cause they select. The 2019 selected organization is the Women's Resource Center. This cause support in so many ways by assisting individuals, families and our community.

I teamed up with fellow quilting buddy, Carol Kozelka, to donate two quilts to the Women’s Resource Center. Carol created two quilt tops, I quilted these two then we each bound one each. They are both lap sized and can be used by kids and adults.

What a wonderful idea to team up with a friend!  Both quilts are lovely, and I'm sure will be very much appreciated!  Thanks to you, Sally and your friend, Carol!
