Today's Quiltsy Cares donation is from Susan Murata from SusansPassion. When the request came to help out the California Thomas Fire/Mudslide victims, Susan generously volunteered to make 2 pillow cases and 4 Perkimon Valley blocks.
The Thomas Fire/Mudslide Relief was an effort by superbuzzy after an outpouring of concern and well wishes from friends around the world regarding the devastating Thomas Fire and subsequent mudslides. As of 1/12/18, more than 1,100 had been destroyed of which an estimated 775 were single family homes. Superbuzzy started the "From the Ashes Thomas Fire Quilt Relief " and started accepting donations for these victims.
