Going Green with Quiltsy and River Edge Designs

Riveredge says: "This is one of my 'on going green projects'. I save any scrap that can be cut into a 1 1/2" by 3 1/2" strips. Those many strips then become a quilt! "

Well, with good quality cotton fabric running around $10.00 a yard in the USA, being eco-friendly just makes great sense, and cents!

This is a beautiful example of her scraps - 51" x 62" - called Gardeners Lap Quilt. It will keep you warm on that very cold evening. It will also look great draped over the back of a chair or sofa when you aren't using it.
