As you can imagine with such unspoiled mountain
scenery, there are many outdoor pursuits available. There are activities for the seasoned outdoor adventurer to the weekend golfer. The mighty Chattahoochee River flows through the area, lending its majesty to breath-taking vistas. Several outposts rent inner tubes for leisurely floats on some parts of the river, or canoes and kayaks for guided trips down swift whitewater on other parts. Jackie has been quilting and sewing for over 15 years. She is fortunat
e to be able to stay home now and sew for many hours a day. Jackie is especially drawn to batiks and uses them in many of her pieces.
