WiP Wednesday #4

I can't believe how fast this week has gone, and is going. I need more time! Hopefully you've all got more to show for last week than I do. :P Unfortunately, while I've done a lot of work, I don't have a lot to show for it. In this age of digital cameras, how do I demonstrate what I've spent much of today doing? I have dozens of items that I photographed for my Etsy shop, and spent way too long editing them. Good grief. The photos are always the bottleneck for me, in terms of getting listings up. Anyone else have that for their weak area?

On the plus side, I finished last week's mini quilt for Swap-bot. I think I did ok on the binding, for a first try. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be, which is good, otherwise I'd be having nightmares about it.

I also made a BUNCH of needlebooks. They are one of my favorite things to make. I like to imagine them being held by a craftsperson, and used to make beautiful things. You can click on the photo to see more of my WiPs.

Now on to more important things! There were no new posters last week, so I'm going to feature the first three people who linked up.

Dawn at Spring Water Designs shared some ridiculously cute snowmen. I mean, seriously, how cute are these?? Pretty stinkin' cute. Click on the photo below to visit her blog.

Pamela shared a breathtaking Dresden quilt. I hope her client is jumping with joy! I would be. Click on the photo to visit her blog to find out more.

And last, but certainly not least, Judy shared a gorgeous finish. I'm so in love with the colors she chose. Click on the photo below to see more of her process. Check this baby out.

Now it's your turn!

I'm first on here again (I guess I do most of my blog reading in the early AM). I love your little mini quilt, and thanks for sharing my Snowmen :)

Photography of quilts is the hardest part for me on Etsy. I do most of my photos with a point and hoot, but have tried my son's digital SLR too. It's difficult to get colors looking right and having hots that stand out in a search.
