Some of my friends and I love going out to thrift stores and garage sales to what kind of wonderful treasures are out there. I have found old quilt blocks, fabric stashes, etc etc. My question this week...what your best find?

I haven't had much luck in thrift shops at all but my dad goes to car boot sales and got me lots of vintage threads once so that was nice. x
I love to find silk garments that can be cut up and used in my art quilts ... I also have a friend who is a spinner and she cuts the silk garments into thin strips and spins them with other yarns to create really unique funky yarn.
