WIPs and Whatnot

This Saturday is National/International Quilting Day! What will you do to celebrate? Lots of members have made quilts. Here are just a few

There are many ways to enjoy quilting on Saturday. Check this link I hope you have some fun quilty things planned. I’m sure I will get some quilting done.

Our own Dede was featured on Karen’s blog last week.

Also this week we have two members with quilts in Project Quilting’s Print Publications challenge. They are Sally and Pam G. Please take a minute and go vote. Voting ends on Friday March 15th. Project Quilting is also run by a team member, Kim.

ME and Jennifer delivered the Quiltsy team quilt to Krystyna over the weekend. You can view pictures here

Cynthia has been doing posts featuring items made by team members. I’d like to thank Cynthia for her efforts in promoting the team!

I’m happy to say that we have gotten many, many new members in the past few weeks. We welcome them and I hope they will join us here on WIPs and Whatnots from time to time.

Link up and share what you’ve been working on

Those are some nice table runners. I really like the sage and brown one in the center.

I'm new to the group and this is my first post, so my apologies if I don't do it properly.

As usual I have 3 or 4 irons in the fire. On the design wall is a black and white churn dash quilt with red accent blocks. In hand sewing baskets currently being worked on is an Easter skinny wall hanging, and a Lil twister quilt, both in the binding stage, also have a St. Patrick's Day skinny that needs the hangers attached and it will be finished. In the piecing stage are the Craftsy 2013 BOM quilt and a appliqued runner/wall piece.
