This is what she has to say about her donation:
In 2018, California suffered the worst wildfires in the state’s history, with nearly 2 million acres burned and $3.5 billion in damages. In one fire alone, at least 86 people were killed and more than 18,000 structures were destroyed, making that fire the deadliest and most destructive on record. The devastation I watched on the news throughout the summer and fall was heartbreaking. In November, I heard that Robert Kaufman Fabrics in Los Angeles was collecting quilts to be donated to those affected by the fires in both southern and northern California. I had just finished this lap quilt and was happy to donate it

This is a gorgeous quilt going to such a worthy cause. The orange fabric reminds me of the fires
