Quiltsy Cares - Phyllis Pharis of Jambearies

Today's feaured quilter is Phylis Pharis.  Her Etsy shop, Jambearies is a favorite of mine, I love that besides her quilts, she stocks a wonderful supply of precuts!  This is my interview with Phyllis:

My name is Phyllis Pharis and I own Jambearies on Etsy. I have chosen to donate a quilt to Project Linus (Phyllis is on the left)
Phyllis donating her quilt
Project Linus is special to me as it provides blankets and quilts to children who have undergone a trauma, or who are battling disease. It makes me feel very Blessed to know that my donation could be a comfort to such a child.

The quilt I am donating is a panel quilt of a little lamb experiencing the beauty and joys of the four seasons. I think the little lamb is adorable, and the changing of the seasons has always represented Hope to me.

I live in Winter Springs, Florida, about 30 minutes Northeast of Orlando. I have been quilting for about 25 years and enjoy making quilts of all kinds. I have been a member of the Quiltsy Team for a little over 2 years, and feel very lucky have made such good friends all over the world through my membership with the team! My favorite things to make in my Etsy shop are table runners and throw quilts.

As Captain of the Quiltsy team on Etsy it is my pleasure to occasionally feature one of my team-mates. This is a lovely group of talented quilters who make a variety of quality quilted and sewn items for sale. I have sold my own quilts in my shop, Pamelaquilts, for 9 years now and enjoy quilting and pattern designing. I have been sewing all my life, thanks to my mom, and fell in love with the art of quilting over 25 years ago. I have worked hard at learning the art of quilting and have mastered many techniques, from the time honored skill of fine hand quilting to the modern methods using quick piecing and machine quilting.
