Welcome to a New Year of Quiltsy

Well......another year has gone by and Quiltsy accomplished some amazing things. The year 2017 was the tenth Anniversary of the Quiltsy Team on Etsy. Besides the work involved by each of our members to run a successful shop, the willingness of our team mates to go above and beyond is truly heart warming. We had several promotions where we challenged ourselves like the Christmas Star  Promo, the UFO Challenge, Quiltsy Cares, and the Great Destash Party. There was also two that we are most proud of-Quilts for Tennessee in which we donated 67 quilts to the fire victims of Tennessee and Doctors With Out Borders that we raffled off a quilt made by the Quiltsy Team and raised $942 that was donated to them. Truly amazing!

This year promises to be even more incredible things. We have an entire year of events and promos planned, along with challenges and even several that ask our  Quiltsy members to "Step up to the Plate". Our first is a volunteer effort that was created due to the  Ventura Quilt Guild call out because of the the devastating Thomas Fire and subsequent mudslides inn California. Sixteen Quiltsy members have signed up to make blocks and pillowcases,or donate charm packs (a collection of 40 5"squares). Learn more about this in the upcoming March's Quiltsy Cares.

Next up is our Great Quiltsy Destash Party. If you are looking for some fabric, a new pattern, books, precuts or maybe something new to learn be sure to check it out. Remember:"One man's Destash is another man's treasure".
