Today's charity donation comes from Kelly Wilber of SewEverAfter. Kelly lives in Snohomish County, Washington. Her Charity is Camano Island Quilters.
Camano Island Quilters is a non-profit group of individuals organized for the purpose of educating its members in all forms of quilting and fiber arts by meeting together monthly, providing classes and opportunities for sharing
our love of quilting together.
CIQ has been preparing Comfort Quilts for over 20 years. The quilts provide warmth, comfort, and therapy to children in Providence Children's Center hospital, and the retired nun's at the Sister's of Providence home.
The quilt Kelly has made started with blocks sewn by several different members of the guild. She then turned them into a quilt top, her Mother-in-Law provided the long arm quilting service, and the finished quilt will make
it's way into the arms of a child in need of comfort.
