"Charity events are so important in our society and the one that I donated a purse to is one of my favourites. Cancer touches so many people and the silent auction at the “Curl for Cancer Funspiel” (curling bonspiel) held in Salmon Arm, BC in November was a great one to support. I donated one of my unique handmade purses to this event ... the bright pink silk quilt block on the black linen purse had just the right bit of pizazz and I hope that the person who purchased it will enjoy using it as much as they feel good about supporting the Canadian Cancer Society."
